Testimony of Rifleman Boyd :
I saw Wotten killed near Woesten on July 13th.
We were working for the French Army putting in gun positions about noon and were going home after work when a shell came over . He was killed at once . He had stopped to see a man who had been killed near the wood.
The Belgians were holding the line . He was taken away at once at was buried in a cemetery half a mile away from Woesten.
